We are considering Seton Hall's business school for our son. On one hand, the 2010 edition of The Princeton Review's "Best 371 Colleges" lists Seton Hall as a "Great School for Accounting Majors"; however, Seton Hall does not appear on the 2010 edition of the "Fiske Guide to Colleges" or in Business Week's 2009 "Top Undergraduate Business Programs". Does anyone have any useful, positive ranking information for Seton Hall which would help us to continue considering this college ??? Please consider this as a serious question from a very concerned parent. Thank You.

I found this info at [Bachelors in Accounting, Stillman School of Business - Seton Hall University, New Jersey](http://www.shu.edu/academics/business/bs-accounting/)

"What sets our program apart is that two of our eight major courses emphasize information systems. And the Stillman School is one of only a few schools selected to partner with SAP, the leading ERP company. Our students use the SAP software in their coursework and projects. "

I think that’s very unique considering SAP experience is in high demand. Also, remember that to become licensed as a CPA in New Jersey (any many other states) you must complete 150 college credit hours. So a fifth year (combined Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Master of Science in Professional Accounting Program at SHU) is required. I’d suggest asking what type of financial aid SHU typically provides for that fifth year. Good luck to you and your son in the decision making process!

Oh, and also make sure any program you decide on is fully accredited by the AACSB. At SHU “Programs of the Stillman School of Business are fully accredited by the AACSB-International. This is a professional accreditation above the regional accreditation held by most business schools. Accredited since 1978, this status ensures students that Stillman meets the highest standards in business education.”

POIUYTRE, thank for your comments…very helpful…SH’s 5-year Accounting Bachelors/Masters program is a factor to keep it “in the running”…I am hoping for better SAT scores so my son at least has a few options to choose from…
