I’m currently trying to set up a Sonos system in my apartment in swift 300. I’m setting up my own network so no one else can play music on my speakers. To do this I am setting up a router but for some reason it won’t work. I am by no means knowledgeable in this area but I have setup routers before and usually once you give it a Ethernet connection it starts working. I have registered the routers MAC address and I am connected to the router’s Wi-Fi. However I still cannot get it to connect to the internet. I would assume duke has some way of detecting and removing external routers from the network. Does anyone know a way around this?
