Hey guys! I am currently a high school junior who has her heart set on attending Northwestern, whether it is the death of me. I probably browse the NU website more than I should on a daily basis.

Anyways, I have failed to come across any information regarding setting up an interview with a Northwestern alum. From what I have read, I know that the interview isn't a big shoe in to NU, but it can't hurt! I plan on applying ED, so I would maybe have to have my interview scheduled for this year.

How would I go about setting up this interview? And also, what should I expect? I know all of the basic questions colleges ask you in the interview process, but is there anything important I should know prior to the interview?

ED doesn't usually have interviews and it'll be a while before you can set that up... Right now they're focusing on RD applicants for this year.

You may be able to get an alumni interview for ED depending on your location. I applied ED this year and contacted the alumni office over the summer to see if I could set one up - then a local alumni contacted me mid-September. The interview itself was pretty casual and the lady I talked to was very nice. :) But yeah I would wait until at least the spring to look into it since they'll be focused on current applications until then.
