Setting up cornell mail account with mac mail?

<p>Before you link me to CIT, know that I've followed all the procedures but it's telling me my outgoing server SMTP is offline (authusersmtp.mail.cornell.edu doesn't seem to be working and I've messed with ports and things). Anyone else having this trouble, or can anyone tell me how they got their cornell email to work with their mac mail?</p>

<p>I'm receiving emails alright, just unable to respond and webmail is pretty annoying!</p>

<p>my apple mail is working fine...although what you are experiencing used to happen to me on occasion. it randomly started working again though when that happened.</p>
