Setting up Interview

Actually I might have been on the Stanford board but I did not apply there. Sadly, my parents won't let me go so far away.

I applied to Georgetown College as an Econ major.
I also applied to:
Princeton (ED deferred)
Yale
Brown
Columbia
UVa
Tufts

It's funny, I never heard about "Tuft's Syndrome" or Tufts University before I came to College Confidential.

Which is your first choice? One of the Ivies? (Stereotypical follow up question when people see you've applied to one).

Well it was Princeton when I was applying Early but it's Yale now.
I feel so bad about Tufts! I think I won't get in just because of the Tufts syndrome, but I guess I deserve it since I am pretty much using them as a backup, and don't actually like them THAT much. >.< feels guilty

As long as the Tuft's AdCom doesn't cruise CC boards and know your sn, I think you're okay. :D

lol oh gosh if adcoms actually cruised cc I'd be screwed at both yale and princeton I think. When I was all for Pton I frequently made fun of Yale and now I'm like gahh who cares about princeton anymore?
I guess it doesn't helps that I'm saying those things again...

Hahaha...imagine if they really did. That's how they admit people if they know their SN. If you speak well of them, the let you in.

But I doubt they have that much time to read the apps and cruise the boards.

I take it you'll find out April 1st. I hope you get in to your first choice.

Well that clearly didn't work because I spoke so many good things about princeton and they still didn't take me.
Good thing they don't know my SN though.

Thanks for the good luck! Good luck to you too, although you seem pretty much set. At least, you're definitely going to go to a great school!

OMG Zante when I came on here earlier today I saw that you had about 150 posts to go before 4,000- now you've only got 5! Gooooo Zante! LOL :p I'm such a nerd.

And while we're on the subject of Stanford... so two days after the deadlines passed, I found out that I actually have legacy there. That totally sucked, since I would've applied if I knew that. I had never really considered Stanford, though, which is weird because I live like 40 mins. away from it.

Calidan, go party with my with my 4000 post thread.
