<p>At the mywisc.edu student center, near the bottom of the page there is a personal information section that includes address and email. My question is, how do I set up a "name"@wisc.edu email address. Doesn't being admitted automatically mean that I get a university email address?</p>
<p>I wasn't able to set mine up until a few days after I sent in my confirmation. When I went to my.wisc.edu there was a little Attention! You must update to new services. thingy on the top left of my screen. I just followed that to activate my mail, wiscal and everything else.</p>
<p>wait, so you have to send in your $100 deposit confirmation first?</p>
<p>That's how it worked for me.</p>
<p>Same with me. My dad just got a confirmation that Wisconsin cashed the checks and i logged onto my UW and it said "Attention, you must activate" or whatever.</p>
