Money...but that's just me. :)

Love: 12
Money: 6
Unsure/Neither: 3

uc_benz,
i doubt NOONE has achieved happiness. how could you possible know that? though there is a difference in being happy and achieving happiness, i'm sure there are people (dead and alive) that have done the latter.

When ya have true love, you don't need a 7 figure salary, but when you have a 7 figure salary, you would still need true love...

Defonitely money! You can do anything with money, perhaps even buy love lol.

I'd say love; with the seven-figure income, I'd probably catch myself wondering if the person I'm dating is in love with me or my money.

Love: 14
Money: 7
Unsure/Neither: 3

money.

worst comes to worst you can buy booze, hookers, and drugs.

Love......

I think I'll have to experience true love first and then decide. I'm not really sure if I've ever been in love.. maybe really close to it. But I do know what it felt like to have money.. I didn't think it was anything special back then. And to me, more money didn't necessarily make me feel less-empty or more satisfied. btw, by money, I don't mean the 7 figures' worth that you have in mind but certainly more money than just what I saved up from birthday presents over the years. Sorry for ruining the fun of the game by explaining too much. for the sake of this tally, I'll choose

LOVE

Love: 16
Money: 8
Unsure/Neither: 3

I'd take the money. I'm VERY skeptical as to whether or not the conventional idea of "true love" actually exists. And if it does, it's certainly not the "happily ever after" we all want to believe it is. And in my opinion, whoever said "Money can't buy happiness" was absolutely insane.

Mahras being the filthy capitalist pig who puts his head in line to protect the free markets of the world in any debate who also happens to hate every individual liking socialistic practices of course chooses money. Of course I absolutely, totally, incredibly love myself for it!

I was actually thinking a lesser number of people would choose money but it seems I had underestimated the number of people on CC with a practical head in place.

I wonder how many people would actually choose love if they really DID have a choice. I doubt there would be so many. We can theorize about how very idealistic we are but if the situation occurs the tables would turn.

I LOVE money! Money can buy love. Love are for losers anyways.

I guess it would also depend on other factors. Like, are you with the person of your dreams but living on the street? Or are you making a 7-figure income but everyone in the world hates you? I chose love, but under the assumption that I'd still have a comfortable living (house, car, steady job, etc.)

You need money for survival. Love is nothing comapred to seven figures. people can get ridiculous at times...

I disagree. Love is awesome, just awesome. And if you've ever felt any kind of love, you know it's better than anything else

Sure you need money for survival, but do you really need a seven figure salary to live a comfortable life? No, because you can survive without a seven figure salary. Even if I was making less than $4,000 a year, I would still choose love, because atleast I will have someone to share the hard times with.

You get love with money. Sad, but true.

Not true. There are people out there who can love a person for truly who they are in the inside and not for their money or lack of money.

Why aren't rich people overwhelmingly the happiest then? There's more to life than what you accomplish and what you have
