<p>The original post was sort of ridiculous. Being waitlisted is a bummer, but your stats are clearly competitive for top 20 schools. It’s part luck for even the best of candidates, which I’m sure you know.</p>
<p>To preemptively say that you wasted $65 on each application is unfair to yourself, but also reeks of pity mongering. You have solid SAT’s and grades, and it’s almost insulting to go on about having no hope as though being in the 99th percentile is so awful. Linking to your chances thread just gives the impression that you want some last minute cheerleading, which is only reinforced by your subsequent posts.</p>
