So I know that most of the people who use this website are wayyy too busy to fool around with shenanigans like Seventeen Magazine, but I think that you all from the high school board (parents/college kids/HS kids alike) would be the best people to ask.

You may be familiar with a program called "The Freshman 15" on Seventeen's website and in their magazine. Basically, the people at the magazine pick a variety of girls (different races and personalities) attending different types of schools (big state, small LAC, ivy, top 20). Then, the 15 freshman girls have to vlog/blog/give tips/answer questions during their freshman year experience in order to provide advice to those planning to enter college.

I was lucky enough to be picked, so I have the opportunity to document my freshman year chronicles in a magazine.

Seeing as my job is to give advice and expose the college experience to high school students, I wanted to ask about what I should highlight. So if you're familiar with the program, or even if you're not (if you're a guy haha), what should I talk about specifically? Most importantly, what should be done differently than in previous years of the Freshman 15? Are there any particular concerns with college life (that have yet to be addressed in the program at length) that I should look into?

I'm going to be attending Rice University in a little over a week (ahh!), and so my experience particularly pertains to the types of people who use this website. If there's anything at Rice that I should highlight, let me know =]

I've used this website soo much the past two years, and hopefully I can give back the "advice karma" through this magazine/internet media that is Seventeen magazine. If you have any suggestions for what would be best for me to cover during my experience, let me know!!
