chicago decisions were already done before i heard back from penn, so nothing I can do. The only real option was to see if I got in (it is a reach school) and then give them the reply that I cannot attend. Mich accepts 10,000 kids. I am really not going to affect anyone's decision in the long run.

lol ventaker, I got into Mich the day after I got into Penn. I applied October 31, if that helps you out in anyway :p

I don't think I hear from any other schools except Babson on January 1 for EA, so I'm not being THAT sleazy :p

My Mich app was completed November 3, and on CC i see a kid whose app was completed December 7 and got a decision. It's just about pride at this point ;)
I'll pull the app if I don't hear by mid January, and I don't plan on backing out of Penn, so no reason for Penn to care.

i never actually got around to sending in any other applications... haha

oops... i thought U Mich was really hard to get into ... Z
nevermind ven.

I just sent in my stony brook app which had a deadline fore dec. 1. Waste of 40 bucks.

wasted 60 bucks and quite a few days on my cp app..

yeah, I shamefully contributed to the already massive endowment of Harvard University with my application fee (like they need more money)

hey venkater, are you a michigan resident?

nope, which is why i really should be rescinding the application soon. i'll probably do it this friday. it's just gotten to the point where i want to hear back because everyone else i know has.
