Several Questions

I took all of my SAT IIs 2 times (not a good idea I know). I got 760 on Math IC then a 750 2nd time. 690 for chem then 800 2nd time. 540 for world hist then 730 world history. Will these stats hurt my chances (the fact that I had to take my SAT IIs several times)?

Also, I want to prepare for US History for November. But if I’m taking it, I want a flat 800. Any good strategy/books/resources that I could use in a short period of time?

Also the same question for SAT II Spanish.

Thanks for the help.

eww!!! you retook a 760 score? that definitely looks stupid, especially since you scored lower the second time.

1: it's recommended that you take SAT II's only once. However, taking them twice might not necessarily hurt you.

2: i've heard numerous people report that Amsco AP us histroy book is very good for the AP exam as well as for the SAT II exam.

3: There really isn't a good book for Spanish ( or any language). however, i've heard people suggest barron's.
