Hi, I am a high school junior and I am just thinking ahead. I know you can apply without test scores, and that is what I plan to do. I have a 4.0 as of now and I have over 400 hours of volunteer/community service hours. I have been volunteering since 6th grade, and I am in all honors/AP classes excluding math AP classes.
-Future President of NHS
-Beta Club Member
-Future Business Leaders Association
-Key Club
-Student Government
-Student Council Core (20 students in whole school overseeing projects)
I have also maintained a part-time job while doing school and such.
My main problem is that I just can't make a high ACT score, and I would be applying test optional.
I have visited the campus twice and I send in mail inquiries asking for brochures and such.
I know one alumni that goes there kinda well.
-What would the interview process be like
-Would coming from a public school hurt my chances
-What would my actual chances of getting in look like
-Does not submitting scores hurt chances of admission
-Am I in over my head
-What could I do to increase my chances (besides obviously submitting scores if I could ever get them up high enough)
-I make high As in my AP classes, if that helps anything
Thanks for your time!
