SFS Application Question

Hello! I'm interested in attending Georgetown to pursue international relations/Arabic. Obviously SFS would be my primary goal but I have heard that it is the hardest school at Georgetown to get into and I am not the most competitive candidate to begin with. I also do not feel confident in the SFS supplement essay - I know plenty about world affairs but I believe I can write a better essay for the other schools. Would it be a smart idea for me to apply undecided to Georgetown College and transfer to SFS later?

Honest opinions are appreciated!

SFS has the highest acceptance rate, so awkward. And if you want to transfer, they make you write the application essay anyway.

CSIHSIS: Obviously I don’t have very accurate sources. I think I would be more comfortable writing the essay after a year of related classes anyway. Thanks!

But you wouldn’t have related classes. Just apply to SFS. You must know how stupid it sounds saying “I really want to go to this school so I’m going to apply to a different one”
