I know that there is a requirement at SFS that you must have studied economics in high school. My school does not offer any economics classes, so I self studied AP Macro/Micro Economics and got 5's. Will this fulfill the requirement? I also wanted to know how important foreign languages were in the school.. I only had two years of Russian because of a scheduling conflict and bad counselor advice the year before. Will this ruin all chances?

You don't have to have studied economics or a language to be accpeted in the SFS. All incoming SFS students take econoomics together and you can start learning a language once you start.

ha woa that scared me, its okay to apply to sfs even if you didnt take economics then right

Right. It might make it easier because there is a decent econ requirement for SFS, I think its 4 courses (Micro, Macro, ITrade, IFinance)

Yahh, exactly what C-Revs said - taking the AP exams may make it easy, but basically every SFS students takes the 4-course sequence during their freshman and sophomore years and they struggle through it together :-)
