I am applying EA to Gtown, and want to apply for SFS. However, SFS is so difficult to get into, so I am considering applying MSB Int'l Business, which is still a nice alternative for me. Will that affect my chances significantly?

Brief Stats:
1400/2100 SAT
3.86 GPA
35/623 (5-6%) Class Rank
Great ECs, Essays and Recs

So yes, I know I have a shot at SFS. But I just REALLY want to get in. Would you advice MSB or SFS?

I think I really want to do MSB... I just really want to get in, and the Int'l Business program is still great. Only problem is you need a rec from a math/social studies teacher, and I really don't have anyone strong. Are those simple guidelines, where I could do a Spanish/English teacher (Int'l Business, a Spanish teacher could count kind of as social studies?). Or should I not stress about that one rec and just use a math/social studies teacher even though its weaker?

The percentages are very similar, but there is a large difference between the SAT scores. Simply, students who apply to SFS have higher scores, its just more self-selective.
