SFS Qatar Chance?

So, I'm not really one to go asking for chancing advice, but, I decided to at least seek it for this particular school. The Georgetown School of Foreign Service in Qatar has really got me interested and is the number one school on my list as of right now. The location and the ability to become proficient in Arabic are pretty much the main draws for me. Well, here I go :P

GPA: Unweighted 3.5 Weighted 3.667
SAT I: 600 writing, 620 math, 670 reading.
SAT II: Haven't taken yet.

School Activities: Drama Club 11, 12
Key Club 12
GSA 12
Tennis 10, 11, 12
Italian Club 11, 12
After School: Community Theater 9, 10, 11, 12
Job 12

I've taken four years of French, two of Spanish, and one in German.
4 AP Classes so far: European History (4)
Biology (4)
United States History (5)
English Language (5)

And this year I'm taking Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and American Government.

Also, I'm from Alaska so maybe that will help? And I've lived in North Carolina, Washington, Missouri and Germany.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Not looking good, IMO.

I am applying to Qatar as well! I really have not been able to find any specific admissions stats for Qatar. This is probably because the school is pretty new and because the entering classes are so small.

That said, my understanding is that the percentage of applicants admitted is in the single digits. Also, I think that most of the admits are from outside the USA.

In other words, I think that, unfortunately, both of our chances are pretty slim!

I am also applying to SFS-Q and I am from Singapore.

Based on what I have read, 1/3 of the students are from Qatar and 1/3 are international students. the other third I ain’t sure.

Well it would be cool if we are accepted! I am really excited to transfer to Qatar. It’s pretty damn surreal.
