SFS Transfer Chances

<p>Hello All,</p>

<p>I'm intrested in transferring to Georgetown's School of Foreign Service to study Arabic and major in International Politics with a Concentration in Security Studies. None of which my current college has. </p>

GPA: HS-3.65 College-3.74
SAT: 760 Verbal 640 Math
AP: English Lit and Comp-4 Am. History-5</p>

2 Years of Varsity Baseball
1 Year of Varsity Track
Debate Team (State Finalists)
Mock Trial Team (State Semifinalists)
Future Business Leaders of America (Top 10 in the State in Public Speaking my Senior Year)
National Honor Society
Volunteered 100+ Hours at the local Hospital and my Church.</p>

School Paper- Staff Writer

Christian Appalachian Project
History Club
Research Assistant for the Philosophy Department</p>

<p>Special: Trained Speed Reader- 1500+ words per minute with very good comprehension.</p>

<p>Languages: Only English Fluently But conversational in Spanish and can speak a bit of Bulgarian (My current roomate).</p>

<p>I'm not experienced with admissions in the SFS, but you would stand a good chance at the college, if you were tp apply there.</p>

<p>Anybody else have any advice for the SFS? In terms of chances, I am curious if its a match, slight reach, or major reach. </p>
