So it's already mid Feb and I haven't received anything yet. Is this a bad sign? Has anyone gotten accepted into SFSU's Civil Engineering or rejected? I'm soo worried. My current GPA at City college is 3.7 but my cumulatative gpa covering 180 units is a 2.12

I’m having the same problem, my CC is 2.66 but my overall GPA is 2.5 (I went to two different colleges), I haven’t heard anything from anyone either. I’m worried myself! Tell me if you get anything (BTW I didn’t apply to SFSU… I applied to some other schools).

SFSU isn’t impacted in civil engineering so you might have a chance. A GPA that low can be hard to tell though.

So I called SFSU to ask if I am being processed as a local or non-local. Most of the locals got their responses back in december and I have taken my current coursework at SF city college. Well they said I am considered an out of area applicant because of all my units from SoCal from 6 years ago. Meaning that I am being held to higher gpa standards. If I don’t have a cumulatative 3.3, which I don’t, I am not admissible. Regardless if my major is impacted or not :(

Dam that sucks. Have you applied anywhere else?

I was accepted to SFSU last week and im not a local. I’m a Sociology major going in with a 3.5 g.p.a.
