Hello guys,
i am going to keep it short, and going to type this quickly so please excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes.
I am currently sophomore at a community college in california, and I plan to transfer to a school in fall 2014, which means I am applying now to UC's and CSU. my problem is that spring quarter last year, i really messed up and it was the first time my GPA really dipped down. it went down to a 2.99, which is now the current GPA i have when i am applying to school, but i plan to have it anywhere between 3.0 and 3.2 by the end of this fall quarter. anyway, my main questions is that I am applying to SFSU which is my top school for CSU's, and I heard that psychology is a impacted major, along with sociology? does anyone know which one is more competitive be admitted? I am just wondering what would be my BEST pick for my major to maximize my chances of getting in? you have to take a certain set of classes to fit the requirements for that major, so that why I am trying to figure this out now before the end of Nov. which is when the applications are due. what do you guys think I should go with? I really want to maximize my chances to the fullest extent. thanks for the help!
