Philosphy 100

So what classes should i be focusing on?
This is the recommended schedule from USC.edu
Term 1 English1 Microeconomics Calculus General Education
Term 2 English2 Macroeconomics General Education Accounting 1
Term 3 Accounting 2 General Education General Education Diversity

What is a Diversity class? my school does not have an articulation agreement with USC

if your a freshman now and you want to enter your junior year you would apply next year the beginning of your sophomore year. i am sophomore right now finishing up my application for fall 09, the deadline is february 2 2009 this year.

my school actually has an articulation agreement with usc.

for me the diversity requirement was met by me taking an ethnic studies class, i took chicano studies this term.

i'm not an expert on usc. i'm actually hoping to get into nyu for spring 2009, but if i don't get in i am definitely gunning for usc. i'm sure someone more qualified on here will answer your question better that i did!

hey what are you guys GPA going into usc??? this is my freshman year also and i just recieved my GPA for first semester and i have a 3.5 :( kinda bummed cuz dont know if thats enough for usc.

Diversity gets fulfilled by an introductory Sociology class (Sociology 1 at most schools), so make sure to take that. Since you're trying to go to Marshall, I would suggest fulfilling the Sociology class, Macro- and Micro-econ, and Business Calculus/Single-Variable Calculus and Accounting as quickly as possible, preferably before applying so that they have grades in those class to assess you with. That would make you a strong applicant.
