*shakes head*

You know, every single year there seems to be a good 15 threads at least about affirmative action. What do people seek by arguing about a topic that a.isn't going to change by arguing and b.is supported/denied by flimsy arguements. You know, I sometimes wonder if any of these arguing people have ever read up about it and not just relied on what the media is spoon feeding them. It just becomes you're stupid! well you're wrong! and so on and so forth.

end rant.

i think very few people do any research. And usually (and obviously there are exceptions) it boils down to white kids who didn't get into schools of their choice, and of course their race was their only negative aspect, or they know someone they consider less qualified who is a minority and got in, and minority students who are tired of being told they got in simply on race. That's the reason why there are so many, those 2 groups will always exist.
