<p>Between football, taking 4 AP classes and finishing essays for my ED school UPenn, trust me i managed my time to the best of my ability. haha there was no way i was gettin those 3 essays done… i mean i obviously couldve written 3 bs essays but id rather spend my time on them</p>

<p>Back to the summer session requirements. Does anyone know the average admission rate for summer session?.. Like SAT & GPA…?</p>

<p>I heard that SHC will begin notifying students on Feb. 27… Is this the day that the letters are mailed out or will we know by this date?</p>

<p>ok so if by mistake one of my teachers (i submitted 3) gave me a not so great rec letter how badly would it hurt my chances of getting in?
The letter is completely not reflective of my school achievement.
Would shc take that into consideration?

<p>also, do you know if the shc would be making calls to recommenders this week or is it too late for them to still be doing that?

<p>SHC won’t call the recommenders. They just go by what they write in the letters of rec. If the letter wasn’t too hot in that it just didn’t highlight your abilities 100% than it won’t work against you. However, if the teacher wrote something negative in there then that will for sure come back to bite ya. </p>
<p>Your stats look good. SHC won’t look at your SAT scores.</p>

<p>I have never heard them day that they call the recommenders. It doesn’t make sense to do so when you have thousands of applicants in a pool/year.</p>

<p>yep, other aid arrives later. I received it in either March or April, I do not remember. But when I received my notification of SHC acceptance I was given 2 $ awards through the honors college so both of these were listed on my letter.</p>
