She's changed her mind -- FINAL UPDATE

She's going to School 1. She made the decision this week and seems really settled into it. She's even a little excited, planning what to bring, etc. We paid tuition yesterday. All seems well. I let her come to the decision herself, and I'm really glad that I did.

Thanks to all for your ideas and support. I hope there are no more updates. :-/

For now, YAY!

I'm glad it worked out!

Thanks for updating us. Glad things worked out!

I've been following your threads and am so glad she reached a decision she is excited about. What a relief for all of you! Thanks for the update.

Hurrah and congratulations for both of you! :)

Leave it to our kids to keep our lives interesting!!! Glad to hear it worked out!

I'm sure this whole drama was hard on you -- so kudos for letting D make her own decision. I bet it's been a huge learning experience for her. Once she's actually at the school -- I recommend a big, strong mojito to celebrate a major milestone for you both ;)

:: passes out champagne ::

Hurrah!!! A toast to decisions, however late they may come, and the parents who let their kids make them!!

Congratulations!!!!!

Yea!

Great to hear. Really appreciate the update. On to Twin XL sheets and color coordination - what College Admissions for Parents is really all about ;).

lol, dorm sheets...CC moms' favorite sport!

Glad to hear it. Whoever came up with the saying about kids keeping you young? I think I age 5 years each time i go through a stress filled period of my much loved children's lives while they go merrily on their way. Of course that puts me well up into my 100s somewhere.
