DD filled out all the paperwork for Santa Clara last night. I'm going to the PO right now to mail it. She'll be there in Sept!!

Congratulations!! I've been looking for her decision.

Congratulations!!! Its not as easy as it seems to finally choose one and let the others go. Now go load up on shorts and flip flops.

That's awesome :) I'm glad she's finally decided and I hope she enjoys going to Santa Clara and California.

Anoel, did you decide which school?

Anoel is going to Chapman

Yeah, I'm going to Chapman University. None of the 3 California Catholic schools gave me enough money to consider it but I don't mind too much as I didn't really want to go to them that much anyway. I do eventually want to go up to San Francisco and check out the area and maybe stop by at Santa Clara as it is a very beautiful campus.

Thanks, I was wondering what you finally decided to do. I hope you love Chapman, and if you come to San Francisco be sure to visit the new art museum in Golden Gate Park, the old one bought it in the earth quake a few years back. The De Young Museum(http://www.sfgate.com/listings/venue.php?art,v8) and the
MOMA (http://www.sfgate.com/listings/venue.php?art,v12)
The Palace of Legion of Honor is my favorite art museum, right next to the bay, a golf course and it was a gift from France after World War I. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/04/29/DDGVAIGL421.DTL&hw=Palace+of+Legion+of+Honor&sn=001&sc=1000

San Francisco is only a few hours north. Fun weekend getaway.

Chapman was my first choice so I'm happy to go there. Thanks for all the suggestions to visit, they sound great as I love museums. I'm really looking forward to visiting SF, can't wait to see the Golden Gate Bridge ;)

And don't overlook Fort Point underneath it at the south end. And its a good place to sit at the wall and watch the bay and stuff. And at Crissy Field you can walk the beach and there are a couple places to get snacks and shop for t shirts. Its cold there though. But good views of the GG.

Sounds great, I'll be sure to check it out when I go there.

yep i am going too.. wat major is going into?
