<p>I filled out the a paper form to waive SHIP. The financial aid office also assumed that I would waive the health insurance. But nothing about SHIP has been sent to my CARS. Should I still be waiting? I think I am being charged for it. I know about the bureacracy, but this long wait is extremely vexing. They still haven't fixed my budget, after I sent in a change of financial aid form on June 23rd. Can anyone give me some perspective or answers? Thanks.</p>
<p>Check your myBerkeleyapp on the "checklist." It should say something like this:</p>
<p>Student Health Insurance Plan:
The Student Health Insurance Office has received your waiver application. No further action is necessary. Please note that SHIP waivers are not reflected on the campus system until late summer, so you will see the credit for the health insurance fee on your September campus billing statement.</p>
<p>They should be able to waive it these couple of days, as Berkeley with all the bureaucracy is very slow.... To give you some perspective, my SHIP was only waived yesterday, but I did it via the online form. </p>
