Shipping to UCLA

I'm not sure where to post this, but I'm in dire need of some answers! Is it possible to ship my luggage/package to UCLA? A friend of mine who is attending UCSD said they're okay with it, but it has to be after move-in day. If it is possible, how do we do it?

Once you move in, have someone ship you your luggage from home. You will be given an address while living in the dorms that you receive mail/packages from.

You can then go pick it up in the mailroom once they receive it and update their list. Its kind of hectic during move-in times, but its not too bad.

I think when I lived in the dorms the apt for sproul/sunset/canyonpoint/etc was like 350 de neve. zip 90024. Just make sure you have it addressed with your name on it. Put what building and room number you are in to make things easier too. I had someone with the same name as me, and we always confused each other’s mail.

I do hope they accept large packages. Thank you so much for your time!

I think it depends what shipping company you use. You should ask the front desk and find out the rules.

I have received very very large packages before. However, my 50 inch led tv I ordered wasn’t able to be held by the mail room for some reason. Not really sure what the reason was, but that was also a long time ago, so its probably best to ask the front desk.
