Shipping

Hey guys. I seem to have a lot more than I thought to bring up to McGill. And no, I'm not overpacked! Does anyone know if it's possible to ship some stuff to our dorm or somewhere at the school?

sorry i don't know if you can ship stuff to your dorm. I was wondering if everyone was bringing all of their stuff with them or buying some of it in Montreal. I was going to get all of my stuff in the US until i realized it would cost over $60 to ship it! Do you think it's a bad idea to buy all dorm supplies (i.e bedding, towels, shower stuff) in Montreal?

My situation is different- but this is what I'm doing: since we're furnishing the new house now, I'm taking advantage of the trips to all the various stores to get one of most things my mom is buying for myself (laundry basket, storage, printer...). Having the car and the visa at the moment makes shopping around much smoother. However, I think I'll wait til I get to McGill for sheets and stuff- New Rez sheets are impossible, I might just have to get Queen Size ones and tuck them in around the sides.
And I'm only in Ottawa, so if need be, I can even make two trips or so.

Yeah, I went to Linens and Things for the sheets, aparently "XL Doubles" does not exist as a size.. at least not in Vancouver. Whatever. I'm doing ALL my shoping for toiletries there. Its tons more convenient.

just buy queen sheets- you're not gonna find the actual size in any store besides a hotel linenes store- which doesn't offer much variety.
