Shocked about my scores....

I just got my scores. Both Chem and Math scores and in mid-600s.
To be honest I didn't study enough, but I didn't expect to be this bad.
I have an above-avg everything else (ranking top 5%, 3.9UW gpa..etc)
Will these scores seriously hurt my chance?

680 italian 690 spanish, fck that :/

If you are going into either of those fields or into a specific college that deals with Math and Chem, you will probably have to raise them up to at least a 700...

I am THRILLED to have gotten out of that Spanish test with a 690.

ha ha!!! if you think mid-600s are bad, this is what I got (I knew I did horribly the second I took the test):
570 Math II
530 Spanish
560 U.S. history

Good thing I only submitted it to the one college that required them (Georgetown). 99% likely that I'm not going to get in now, but that's ok!

yeah, mine were pretty bad too, screw the stupid SAT subject tests

i fee like the sat subject tests are rpetty unfair. i mean. i want to major in bio and i got a 670 which to me kinda sucks bc i wanted to get atealst a 700. i feel like it doesnt really test knowledge just random facts. and plus ive only taken bio honrs, im taking ap bio now but ive only had it for about 2 moths so iyt doesn thelp. bio honors material only counts like 20 % of the actualy bio sat which sucks. so i dont know, i dont think they should look at subject tests for determining majors or anything. but actual grades in those subjects adn the hardest classes you could take

you should be fine! hopefully i am too/

GREAT. I am trying to major in chemistry. I feel like in trouble now

Well, it isn't the end of the world. Colleges will look at your other credentials too.

dont worry im i nthe same boat. and im a senior who just submitted penn's application with biology as my chosen major. dont worry . if you havent taken ap chem already theyll understand that this was after a chem honors class which is surely not enuf to do well o nthe chem sat subject test unless you happen to be a crazy good self-studier. i mean im taking ap bio right now as an online course at my school so dontworry.

Hmmmm a 720 IIC....isnt that like 15 wrong? I could have gotten 10 wrong at most.......i honestly didnt expect it to be this low

Me too, with the Math II test. I got a 650. I knew I left 10 blank and probably got a couple wrong, but I didn't except my score to be -that- bad. x.x I say this because I applied to an engineering major at UCLA I got a 700 on chemistry, though. I probably could've done better if I started preparing earlier than a week before. (and I've only had honors chem)

It's a high reach, and I won't be surprised if I don't get in. I'll be happy anywhere else. I just can't wait to see where :D

^^ i like ur attitude hehe
im shocked about my scores too. happy shocked haha
SAT II scores wont break ur chances so relax

I can't say I'm not gonna be disappointed, though XD

^^ well o course lol
