shocking 12/4 sat II scores..

i took US history and Math IIC.

ok, for math iic i don't know wtf went wrong cuz i only ommited 1 problem
and was confident that i would receive a perfect score.
but guess what, i got a 710 :(

us history? i thought i was well prepared for it since i read over my textbook about 3 times and did the barrons and sparknotes practice tests (which i usually got about 790) but my score on the actual sat was 700.

so i decided to retake them in january...
i really really need help...any advice? (like how to improve my pathetic scores??)

Theres no real advice I can give you considering you have used the study books I would have recommended. I found the Barrens book very helpful myself. All I can say is that the SAT II's are not a very important factor in determining your admission to college (unless of course you are applying to something like Harvard, Princeton, Yale etc..). Most schools dont even consider SAT II's unless they are the deciding factor that distinguished one student from another. Don't be too hard on yourself for getting a 700 and 710 because these are far from bad. In fact, they are quite good. I guess it can't hurt to take them again if you truly feel like you can go up. Anyway, good luck to you with your SAT II's as well as your college search.

but the thing is, i'm a junior and i'm currently taking calc BC.
i get solid As in that class...and even on the barrons practice tests which most ppl find them frustrating because of the difficulty level, i never got more than 3-4 wrong...
now that i received my score, i feel so dumb about myself i don't even know what to do... i guess the only solution to it is to retake the test and hope for better luck. but this test definitely made me feel like **** and i'm beginning to qestion my mathematical ability...sigh..

calc bc and sat math 2c really have nothing to do with each other.

Hey, don't doubt yourself. You sound really smart to me. Remember, these SAT II are close to insignificant at most schools. Just keep your head high and try your best on the next one.
