these acceptances are not schocking at all. any SAT score hovering a 1900 and a GPA 3.6 or above is not schocking. these are pretty good. schocking in like a 1700-1800 and a 3.6.

that makes me feel better since I just got an 1890 and most everyone on this board thinks that score is terd.

well keep in mind those scores are for kids who got in ED...

RD is a whole nother monster

Do you think you could get in RD with a 2100?

Do you think you could get in RD with a 2100?

Penn RD is tough...isn't it a 14-16% chance...maybe lower because of more applicants. 2100 is good nuf, but SAT alone will not get u in

Do I have a chance with a 1720 as of now? I am going to try and bring it up?

We are in the same boat Excel, I got 1870 on my SAT.

I dont think our scores right now is sufficent enough for Penn. I am trying to bring it up to 2100.

Ben.

I got a damn 8 on my essay..I did not prep until the last week..maybe I should prep for a longer period of time

my friend from school got in ED with me with a 1730, 26 ACT.
ranked like 13/564. <3

hes also moroccan, and had sympathy essays.

post if your SAT is younger than the date of the american revolution

1720 :) i an't no nerd im gangsta

anyone with absolutely NO business related courses or ec got into wharton? haha i really hope there is. . . :)

well...if someone got into ENGINEERING with a 1900+ SAT and 3.5 GPA...that can be quite shocking

I think Wharton wants to see in you a future businessman, so no ECs= oh-gosh-lets-hope-they-put-u-in-the-admit-folder....

2050 + 800 Hrs Community Service?

More doesn't always mean better...

I hope your stats are real! I am really shocked with all those guys who claim to have 2400 SAT a 4.0 GPA. Im a junior an took the SAT last October, the first one in my class. I was shocked caused I got 1900. However, as of now, most of the top 10% students also got scores around 1800-1950. An i'm in a good school, nearly 5% of the students get accepted to Penn each year.

Wow, stories of shocking acceptances...I've got one! My friend got admitted to Stanford EA with a 1600-something on the new SAT (yup, that's what I said). The second time she took it, she must've scored in the 1800s. Scores apart, though, she did have brilliant leadership abilities and ECs to back her up.

i got accepted Ed to penn..The college..class of 2010
SAT - 1960 ( btw those are my best scores after taking the stupid test 3 times!)
SAT II - 640 Math I c 670 Writing and 600 Literature

my EC's were good with all leadership positions in school, My school grades were really good.. but my essays were really amazing.. so i guess thats what did it!
