for me, that is!
I was admitted to McGill!!!
dances
I was just checking minerva to see if my transcript had been received...and the system status said: Admitted pending final results! After crying a bit So, now to get back to hard work. color=gray[/color] I can't wait until I have the chance to visit.
Good luck to the rest of you!

Congrats!!! Give yourself a pat on the back. Is McGill very difficult to get into?

I got rejected from McGill, but accepted by MIT. :)

Anyway...

1) Applying for scholarship doesn't affect your admissions' decision. They will send your scholarship decision separately.

2) Admitting pending final results implies final results of your school year, be it A Levels, IB, etc.

Cheers and congrats! :)

applesatyr and perfectdark 9: can you guys please post your stats? it would help me out(and many others!) a lot!!!!!!!!!!!thanks!

I've posted my stuff here > http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=40411

You'll have to search for it though...

thanks.. wow, excecllent stats perfectdark! i still cant believe you got rejected by Mcgill?????????? I dont get what was wrong, your stats were so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you have any major EC` s or hooks that made you stand out for MIT?

I would rather not post the details of the rejection here; as for the hook's, the post you saw is it. There's nothing more to it, really.

to prefectdark9: can't it be like..u were too good for mcgill....maybe they thought that u will definitely get into a better place..so wont enroll at mcgill anyway...so why accept u and affect the matriculation rate ??

sounds weird though !!

Actually, my application was missing a "predicted grades report" on one of the A Levels subjects I'm taking. And they said, we're sorry, you're missing a prerequisite, so rejected!

In any case, things worked out for the best: I got into MIT, and McGill was a safety anyway...
