I like SAS. The first pair was after I hurt my foot, and other shoes just didn’t work. I’ve since bought many pairs - some at store and some on ebay, where you can often find them new or almost new. My mom bought many pair on ebay too.
It might be worth going to a shoe store that specializes in “difficult” feet. One misconception is that soft shoes are always better when in reality a more rigid sole with a steel shank is often more comfortable than cushy soft foam for people with orthopedic foot problems. Soft wool socks within a supportive rigid sole work very well sometimes.
