<p>Just wandering where the best Mall is near campus. When we come down to drop off s for summer session (flying down from ny), we will need to make a pit stop to pick up a few things for him.</p>

<p>The Target, K-Mart and Wal-mart are very busy on move in day.
Everybody is buying the same type of things but they were well-stocked.
Try using the garden entrance check-out.</p>
<p>You can visit your local Bed Bath and Beyond and pick out and pay for dorm stuff, and have it ready for pick up on a designated day at a BB&B in any college town. I would guess there is a BB&B in Tally. It can make things a little less crazy. And summer is prob not as bad. There is no charge for this service, and if you get the 20% off coupons in the mail like we do (and despite the expiration date printed, in our area they never really expire) you can do well, with just a run for last minute things after you have seen how much space you have in the room, etc.</p>

<p>If you want to go somewhere that is not too crowded, you could head to the north end of town, to Thomasville Road. There's a really nice Wal-Mart and Target that are never crowded.</p>
<p>Well not on move in day...everywhere is crowed on move in day...</p>
