<p>I submitted my application for several schools, but just noticed on the print preview that my short answer for the extracurricular was cut short. The last couple of sentences are missing and it doesn't make sense.</p>
<p>Should I email all of the colleges with the full short answer? Will they penalize me for the mistake?</p>
<p>This happens to many people and colleges are probably used to it already. I wouldn’t email them because it will just cause more trouble. Unless your cut off made it into something awful and not make sense, it is fine, don’t worry about it.</p>
<p>If the end of your answer was integral to the entire short answer, e-mail them and correct it. If not… don’t.</p>
<p>I recommend calling or emailing the common application office. They wil lhave a quick answer on how to correct this error. And as the other members pointed out already, this happens all the time. Don’t worry to much about it :)</p>
