<p>Why is it that the Com App SHORT ANSWER does not print out? Is it just me?</p>

<p>It should print out. Try pdf ing it first and pasting it in.</p>
<p>I tried everything and still could not print, so I wrote to common app. Below is what they answered. </p>
<p>“Please rest assure that if your common app includes a short answer essay then the schools that you are applying to should be able to see the essay that you entered and the print out might not be showing it.

<p>Yes, saved. On screen, it shows. On print-out, it does not… I suppose I will call some of the schools that I have already applied for and ask. </p>

<p>I cannot and will not forgive Common App. None of my schools have received my short essay! I talked with schools just now. </p>
<p>Now I know that my ED application to Columbia was incomplete thanks to Common App! I want to sue them!</p>
<p>Worse yet, they had reassured me last night that colleges should be able to read my short essay. What will have happened if I had not asked this question at all, or just accepted their faulty answer? </p>

<p>Or am I supposed to cut my short essay out of word file and paste it to pdf? I am not knowledgeable about pdf…Please help.</p>
