Short Answer question...

<p>So im pre-filling out my Common App for what will be Fall 2013. For the short answer;</p>

<p>"Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (1000 character maximum). "</p>

<p>Am I suppose to write it like my Personal Essay? Im not sure what style i'm suppose to write this. For me, i'll be writing about work experience, United States Marine Corps. Should I just talk about my all the stuff ive done in the Marine Corps, when I entered blah blah blah? I mean, theres a lot ive done in 5 years.</p>

<p>You should not just talk about the stuff you’ve done/your achievements. You also need to talk about how they’ve affected you and such.</p>

<p>Well my personal essay is about the Marine Corps and how its changed me…Not sure what to make of the short answer…</p>

<p>If your personal essay is already on the Corps then you might want to write about some other EC/work experience in the short answer. That way they can learn more about you than just how the Marine Corps changed you.</p>
