<p>Why are the short answers for Columbia relegated to only 75-90 words per line.</p>

<p>For the answer to "most meaningful activity" and "what you did the last two summers" it is extremely difficult to thoroughly answer these questions.</p>

<p>Do they only want like one sentence or two because that is all it seems to allow</p>

<p>They don't want a thorough answer. Just a couple sentences.</p>

<p>the space on the online form for all short answer is a mess as the words are crowded in the left side while leaving the right side blank!!!!</p>

<p>Yeah it is really difficult. It's like you have to have an exact number of words or it won't fit.</p>
