short answers on columbia application

there are a series of short questions about what books you read and stuff like that. It says "LIST," so is that all we do? Columbia gives us 600 char to answer these questions, so I was wondering should we say something more particular about the subjects?

did you guys merely list?

thanks!

I just listed. If they wanted you to elaborate, they would tell you (just like in the Summer activities questions).

ok thanks. yea also realized that there is just not enough room on the application to say much :-P

I have another question, sorry. What does the recommendation page online actually DO? I tried filling it out and it wouldn't even save so I was really confused. Besides, my teachers already mailed in my recommendations. So is there anything need to do about that page?

i don't think you have to do anything with the online recoms after your teachers have mailed them

On the recom page you select teachers who will write you a recommendation and evaluate you. Mailing-in a letter is only half of the job for them, they must also select what's your academic potential and character values etc.

You have to just click "add" and enter email and name and some other info (I don't want to open it again since I don't know whether it wouldn't mess up my already mailed application). Then the system would send an email to those people, together with the links for your evaluation.

ooooo icic thanks a lot andycom

and where do we even imput the teacher email? because it only asks for the MINE email?

nvm it worked
thanks guys!
