Just to clarify, I wasn’t “angry” when I wrote post #4 above.

I just saw another in a long line of “please tell me everything about boarding school” type posts. Reread your original post and hopefully you’ll see how it comes off. And while you try to play it off in post #14 that “you couldn’t care less”, your original post says “this could be helpful for students (including me) who are looking for a specific school”.

I’ve been a consumer and contributor on the forum for a few years now, and have tried to help people where possible…and apologies if I offended you, but it’s frustrating to see newcomers request what amounts to a fair amount of work from others — without doing some of the work themselves.

Now…go 'hawks!

@flavor, the reason so many here dislike the use of acronyms for grouping schools is that so many CC newbies think the acronym schools are some officially recognized league. They stop even looking at other school options and get burned on March 10th. Anyone can promote their own arbitrary acronym, like: SME… ok, I’ll stop. :wink:
