short statements=50 words??

For the short statements in NU supplement (painting, fictional character), how can u explain anyting in less than 50 words? For example, in the painting question, it says to name the possessions (plural) and why I chose them.. so would it be like one sentece describing my possessions and second sentence explaining why I chose them?? (and maybe a short concluding sentence?)
idk.. 50 words seem awful small to me..

I've been having trouble trying to condense my thoughts to fifity words too, but I think thats just part of the challange.

They want you to find a way. Everyone that is applying there has to do it and they do so it's very possible.

I figured it out; the answer, that is. Northwestern is a top school, and they want everyone to have decent writing skills once (If) they get admitted into the upcoming class. So, they want to see how well you can present your thoughts in as concise of a manner as possible. Being concise is, from what i've heard, necessary so you don't ramble and ramble (As I tend to do anyways lol). Write your idea down, have it, and just shorten everything as much as you can for the short essays.

wait, so if we have like 56 - do you think 6 words will be cut off? thanks
