Cornell =====/===== HYPSM

My school’s schedule is like that as well. I understand your dilemma, as it is a difficult workload. Unfortunately, many people applying to HYPSM will be taking 7 or 8 APs, many of my classmates certainly are. I agree that if you can find some “easier” class that you enjoy it would greatly benefit you.

Yup.

Guys, I just got my schedule today. No ART : (

AP Physics C
AP Econ(1 sem)
AP govt(1 sem)
AP Calc BC
AP chem
AP eng lit.
AP Euro Hist. (This is a class i’m looking forward to!)

Would it be beneficial if I just made art pieces at home during my extra free time?
Would that kind of equal independent study? I don’t think I could ask any Art teacher to moniter my progress though b/c my school is unfamiliar with the whole concept.

Ok, i’ve reached a compromise. Instead of having early release both days, i’ll just have it one day.

This way, I can take AP Art drawing! What do you guys think?

bump 10char

Take AP art since you obviously want to. I still don’t think hole in schedule is going to be good.

Then again, I also don’t think it’s wise to take 8 APs your senior year. I actually wanted to enjoy my senior year…
