Shot at getting merit aid at these schools?

Some of my match schools I’m applying to are USD, USF, and Chapman. USF is my safety school.
*all California schools
What is the probability I’ll get some merit scholarships from these schools?
GPA UW: 4.0 W: 4.71
Top ten percent ranking
ACT: 30C
AP scores: AP Chem(3)
I have a lot of leadership under my belt, such as being president of NHS, CSF representative, Interact Secretary, ASB Secretary and more.
Community service at local organization and working at a hospital.
Do different cultural dances, and ballet

Also I’ve received many school awards.

What is the probability I’ll get into these schools, and receive good scholarships?

Bump

I think you’ll get into all of them. I think you’ll get merit at USD and USF. Probably at Chapman. How much do you need?

Well I don’t have a set number in mind, but some aid would definitely help.

There is a huge difference between wanting $1000 in merit aid, and wanting $30,000 in merit aid.

I’m not expecting 30,000 of course. I’m just seeing if I would get some merit aid such as the levels USD has.

I’ll punt. Yoir GPA is fine. I think yoir ACT score is low for significant merit aid at USD.

Okay, what is the average ACT score of those who get say around 10,000 in aid.

There is no way to specifically answer your question about USD. The school does preferential aid packaging. This means that a student who they really want to attract could get more merit aid than a student with lesser stats.

My DD had an SAT score equivalent to you ACT in 2006. She did t get a dime of merit aid from USD…and I believe those awards have become more competitive since that time,

Cast a broad net…apply and see. But make sure there are schools on your list that are affordable…or where you are guaranteed the aid you need to attend.

Thank you for the info!
