<p>From what I’ve heard mostly your scores get you into PS semifinalist, so you will make that. After that it will depend on interviews and personality etc.</p>
<p>We’ll definitely encourage D to apply, then. She would need out of state tuition deferment to make GaTech attractive to us. Might as well give it a shot. </p>
<p>I don’t know really, but I agree with the shoe-in part for admission. When I applied as an undergrad back in '03 and I failed to get semifinalist with slightly higher stats. I believe the criteria is holistic even for semifinalist. Do you have to declare an area of interest on the application? It’s hard to evaluate your EC’s without that.</p>
<p>You sound like a very well rounded person, with strong scores and lots of extracurriculars and awards, so definitely make sure you appy in time for the PS scholarship.</p>
