Shot at Purdue?

I actually don't know my overall GPA/class rank yet, but this would be a worse case (as in slacked more than I expected) scenario:

GPA: 3.0/4.0
Class rank: Would guess 90-110/254
SAT: 620 on critical reading and math, 1740 overall.
ACT: 28 composite

Almost all AP/Honor courses (besides English and a few electives, most notable courses taken are probably AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Statistics, AP American Government, AP Economics, AP Psychology, AP U.S. History).

Not sure how much Purdue counts essay/personal statement, but mine came out fairly well. Have a good recommendation if Purdue takes them. EC's are decent, nothing spectacular though.

I'm out of state, applying for EE (I'm aware Purdue likes to make it hard and weed out even if you get in, don't plan on making the same mistakes I did in high school however. Willing to take this risk.).

Application should be out mid-to-late October.

Do I have a decent shot? Target school, or like a low reach? Worse?

Bump thread…

Your act score is good. But your class rank may damage you though. Gpa is on the lower side. I opine that you should write a brilliant essay and try to explain why your grades went down. You can also request your counselor to Do the same.

Chance me also plz…

Wow. Someone bump this from 2008!!!
