should a freshman (college) send SAT scores?

Hello,
Im currently a freshman at a 2-year honors college, looking to transfer to a university
like UC berkley, Georgia Tech.
I just took the Math Lvl II SAT, and I have to make a decision about score recipients.

My concern is, is it a good idea to send scores in now, early? That would mean I they would
get a second test score when I retake the exam to apply, which may look bad as they will see I've been preparing
for this test and had many attempts, could they see it as "cracking" the test?

On the other hand, may they also look at it as a good thing, showing effort and interest in
their university?

I will add that my current score will be above 700, but I do plan on improving it by the time
I actually apply. Also, im not worried about saving money by sending score reports now.
Thanks

hello my good friend, I see you’ve got quite a challenge here. It is a fact that sending your scores early will show interest and effort in their university, and since you’re certain that your score will be above 700, it is probably best to send your scores to the universities with the lower requirements, for your score will already be good enough. However, those universities that you think are beyond your scores will probably see it as “cracking” the test until you’ve met their required score. You should perhaps retake the SAT for the universities that have a higher requirement

Both UCB and GT are public universities. Are you a resident for either state?

You won’t get the financial aid that you’d need from them if you are a non resident.

What is your home state?

Both schools have high non-residents costs.

I would hope to get replys to my post, so I bump it up.
The 2nd reply is a joke from a friend.
@mom2collegekids
Your reply, although helpful, doesnt really address my original question. I am a Florida resident, but in any case Im not concerned with that at the moment.

it won’t look bad to have a second score since many people retake the test

GA Tech doesn’t want SAT scores for transfers:

Unless I’m missing it, Cal doesn’t appear to either:
