I thought I would take it during my senior year, but I'm finding the GPA weight of AP classes to be more appealing or tempting to me. Anatomy is a general class, and according to most of my classmates, really easy. As a prospective pre-med, should I replace one of my AP's for next year with it to better prepare for my college major?
Thank you!

I know GPA weight appeals to everybody, but when you get right down to it, you have to do what will better benefit you for your future. Anatomy is very important for pre-med, so I say take it. If there is an AP your school offers that is better, than take that. But don’t go by GPA weight.

I did an anatomy class at a local university before my sophmore year. Turns out it was even more fun than taking it in school, AND I got to do IB chemistry which boosted my gpa, the next year. Think about that university option. But my class was very hands on. We were cutting into animals the first week and humans the second. Just keep that in mind.

I’m currently taking Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Which AP class are you considering instead of Anatomy?

@bobtheturtle, my school wouldn’t allow me to take anatomy/physiology at a community college before I take their class -__-
@POLISCINYC13, I took all the AP sciences (chem, bio, APES, and physics C) offered at my school and was going to take anatomy/physiology but changed it to AP Psychology because only the latter is weighted
