I'm taking the SAT for the first time in two weeks and I get four free test score reports. I'm usually a bad test taker and my PSAT wasn't that great. Should I still send the free score reports? My list isn't finalized, but I do have an idea. I would probably send it to some safety's, but I have no idea what I will get on the SAT. So, maybe a safety won't be a safety after I get my results. I will be taking the ACT in February and I will probably retake the test I do better on in May/June. Thanks!

No reason to send your scores right now.

Cost savings of sending scores now: approximately $40.
Reasons not to: eliminates your chance to choose either ACT or SAT, or to use score choice to choose which SAT score to send.

My family chose to send free scores only to one safety, to which my D didn’t ultimately apply.

No point. When you take the SATs again your free score reports include your old scores.

Thanks, I wont! :)

sorry to overtake your thread but i figured this would be the best place to post. when i first took the sat in october as a junior i put down four colleges that i was interested in. as it turns out, i did less than stellar on the sat and now im retaking it january 23. i believe the 4 colleges i sent it to had score choice policy and they only want the highest score. i recieved confirmation that the scores were recieved. would it hurt my chances if they recieved my mediocre sat along with the good one?
