should a letter of recommendation be sent via email?

if it's the only way for a letter to meet the deadline?

I’d say so…better safe than sorry

So long as it is postmarked before the deadline, you are fine. :-P

EDIT: I thought your guidance counselor was suppose to submit all materials including transcripts and LORs.

ah yes. my transcripts and counselors’ evaluation have been submitted by snail mail.

i was only referring to a supplement LOR that I requested from my employer. She started writing it a bit late so she said she would send the LOR via email.
