Should colleges ban fraternities?

My old man was in a fraternity, but was also kind of a nerd. I asked him if I should consider joining a fraternity for the social and networking benefits. He told me that those benefits were vastly overrated and that my personality probably wouldn’t mesh the the fraternity mentality. </p>

<p>Thus, A successful guy who was a member of a fraternity TOLD ME the only reason to join one was to party. Don’t kid yourselves.

so because he is not somebody who would like a frat, that makes him a reserved person? that doesnt make any sense seeing as you dont actually know him and have no way of creating such a judgement because you dont have facts to back up your statement</p>
