please give positive feedback :)

I'd say no. I'd still apply, but I don't think it qualifies as a safe school.

i have 1370 SAT now? :)

I don't think it's a safety school either. Once you get to a certain eliteness, even if you have a great chance, you can't say it's a safety, a match yes for some, but not a safety.

Cornell is not a safety for any applicant, no matter what their stats are

You're funnnnnnnnnnnnnny :)

NOT ANOTHER ELITIST TOPIC!!! aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Please stop using the words "safety" and "Cornell" in the same sentence, people!

1370? You might want to look into Harvard for your safety.

Fish, I think that's bad advice...they'd probably reject him because he's so overqualified that they will KNOW they are being used as a safety...and we all know how much Harvard hates that! :)

1370 is Harvard material? Is that serious?

Byerly has done some nice research over on the Harvard Board.

Safety?

Wharf

Correct Nicky, they call it "Harvard syndrome" heh

What is "Harvard Syndrome?"

I hate to explain a joke but it's a parody of Harvard's neighbor which is notorious for "Tufts Syndrome", where overqualified applicants are not admitted because they know they are being used as a safety school. Of course 1370 does not make Harvard a safety, it's not a safety for anyone. This whole thread is a joke.

1370....cornell a safety...u must be kidding me.....
this whole thread is pathetic....go look into some 'real' safety schools....

WOW I'm glad to see that Cornellians have such a great sense of humor :p

I know, right.

I <3 Nomad. (Definitely your super-safety, by the way. I bet you don't even have to fill out an application to get in!)

therefore, no application fee...

therefore no hassle....no waiting....nada...ur innnnnnnn
